Martha has embarked on her greatest adventure and has passed onto heaven, her final portage

is complete. Martha was 51.

Martha radiated joy to everyone she encountered. She was genuine and sincere to the core,

empathic to the cares of others and not shy to advocate on their behalf. Martha was inquisitive

with an insatiable thirst for learning. She readily shared her knowledge and passion for the

natural world. Her adventurous spirit led her to teach and engage in missions abroad, paddle

across Canada and undertake numerous excursions near and far.

Martha’s greatest love was her family - her husband Jeff and children Ceci and Eli; parents

Doug and Sue Mortson; siblings Shelly (Steve), Londa (Lars), Darrin (Miho); parent in-laws

Peter and Ruby Martens of Caronport Saskatchewan; in-laws Kent (Pam), Scott (Kriston); and

numerous nieces and nephews.

Martha’s strong faith in Jesus sustained her and continues to carry her family and friends

through difficult times.

Visitation - Friday, October 23th between 6 and 8 pm and Saturday, October 24th between

12:30 and 2 pm at Bayside Family Church (4 Parry Sound Drive, Parry Sound)

Funeral - Saturday, October 24th at 2 pm at Bayside Family Church (4 Parry Sound Drive, Parry

Sound)
